Q: My system equips with 1.1 USB port, can I use it with USB flash disk 2.0?
A: Yes, USB 2.0 device has backward compatibility, only it will run in a reduce speed if you use it with 1.1 USB port.

Q: My Mac OS doesn't see the USB drive.
A: This device is driver free under Mac OS 9.0 or above. It should be plug and play.If the USB mass storage driver of Mac system was modified or deleted, it might not see the USB drive when plug it in. Please first remove all USB devices from the system. Visit Apple's website for downloading the USB driver then reinstall it. Also please plug it directly to the USB port of Motherboard instead the port on the keyboard or via a USB hub or extension cable.

Q: My system doesn't recognize the USB drive (Windows XP/2000/ME)
A: 1. Check the USB port is enabled and powered.2. Plug the USB drive then go to device manager (Right click the "My computer icon, properties, hardware, device manager") 3. Click "+" next to the "Universal serial bus controllers??or "other device" to see if anything that is with yellow question mark or green exclamation mark.4. Please choose it and update the driver. You may choose "windows update" or from the "CD-ROM".This device should show as a "USB mass storage device" in "USB Controllers". And if this computer is in the office, please check your user permission in the system.

Q: My USB drive shows up in the device manager, and it appears working properly, but I can't see a removable disk in "My computer".
A: Go to Start-Setting-control panel-admin tools-computer management-Disk management. Right click the disk of the Traveling disk, choose change drive letter and path. Give the drive a letter that is not being used.

Q: The USB drive shows less capacity under Windows then it should be.
A: It's because for hardware manufacturer 1k=1000bytes. But for Microsoft 1k=1024bytes.That's why a USB drive 512MB shows only 499MB under Windows OS.

Q: My PC detects the Traveling disk as a security device and asking for a driver
A: The OS should not ask another driver for security area or detect it as security device. Please test it under other system to verify its function, if the problem persist, this device might be defective by some wrong setting. The problem can not be solved by user's system. Please contact the original purchase place for the retail warranty service.

Q: Is my USB drive compatible with Windows Vista? Can it support ReadyBoost function?
A: The USB drive series are compatible with Microsoft Windows Vista system, but specific USB drives are for ReadyBoost technology; you may please refer to product specification for further information.Windows ReadyBoost can use storage space on some removable media devices, such as USB flash drives, to speed up your computer. The recommended amount of memory to use for ReadyBoost acceleration is one to three times the amount of random access memory (RAM) installed in your computer. For instance, if your computer has 512MB of RAM and you plug in a 4GB USB flash drive, setting aside from 512 MB to 1.5 GB of that drive will offer the best performance boost. Higher than that will not be much benefit.Due to FAT32 file system limits ReadyBoost; 4GB of flash disk is maximum capacity for ReadyBoost function.

Q: My USB Flash drive does not work, it says the disk is write protected.
A: Please download disk recovery utiity to re-format the drive. Note: Low-level format will erase entire data from the drive including preloaded software license such as USB Notebook. Use this tool only when there is problem with USB flash drive.

Q: I can not use my USB Flash drive, it says the disk is unformatted, by can not be formatted by MS-Windows format command.

Click the Device Manager Button. 4. Expand Universal Serial Bus controllers.5. Right-click every device under the Universal Serial Bus controllers and then click uninstall to remove them one at a time.6. Reboot the system without any USB device attached to the USB port. 7. Windows system will reinstall the USB controllers when restarted the computer.8. Plug in the disk and test to this issue is resolved.

Q: Why does my computer ask me to format this USB drive suddenly?
A: Please follow the steps to rectify the problem.Right click the removable disk icon to choose "properties", "tools".Run the function of Error-checking status and "Defragmentation Status"Then Format the disk by the disk utility program that came with it.If the function could not work or the problem still persists, please take it to the original purchase place for the retail warranty service.The common reason to damage a USB is to unplug it from USB port unexpectedly.Under Windows XP/2000/ME, please follow the safe removal procedure before you unplug the disk. Q: After I formatted the USB drive under Windows OS, my Mac PC doesn't recognize it anymore
A: Please check the file system you choose to format the disk.Mac OS is fully compatible with FAT file system but not FAT32 or NTFS.Please reformat it by FAT under Windows OS.If you format the disk as a HDD or USB ZIP by the utility program under Windows OS, it can't be recognized by Mac OS, either. Please reformat it as FDD by the utility program under Windows OS

Q: I receive "memory shortage" message when copy files to the USB drive, but there still lots capacity left in the disk
A: This might be the issue of the FAT file system. Every USB drive is formatted in FAT file system.If you want to copy more then 255 files at a time, please first format it into FAT 32.Right click the removable disk icon to choose "format" then choose to format the disk in FAT32. Then you could copy large amount files to the disk without problem

A: This device doesn't support WIN NT/95/CE/Mac OS 8.6. Please use it under WIN 98/98SE/2000/ME/XP and MAC 9.0& above.

Q: Is the function of USB drive utility program supported by Mac OS?
A: The disk utility program only works under Windows OS, so does the function of utility program. If you set a security partition by disk utility program under Windows OS, it will be unrecognizable by Mac OS.

Q: After I install the disk utility program, every time I plug the USB disk in the system, windows crashes and gives a "BAD_POOL_HEADER" error.
A: This problem is resulted from the interruption of firewall software after you applied windows XP service pack 2. Remove the software completely from your system then download and install the new released one to rectify the problem. Please don't install the new version over the old one.

Q: How much data can a USB Drive hold?
A: It depends on the capacity of your disk also the size of files you store.USB drives are currently available with up to 2 GB storage capacity, and are available in a variety of storage sizes for different needs.

Q: Why I cannot execute USB Flash Drive application?
A: Causing
1. Is the application only support logged in to the computer with Administrator rights for running.
